Services restored

There's still plenty of snow and ice around. An inspection train pauses at an area of sheet ice just beyond Dottendorf station.

Services have, however, been resumed. Seen here in the capable hands of 2095.11, a passenger service passes through the remaining snow.

Although main line services have now resumed, the service up to Quince Bottom is distinctly "summer-only"; it seems unlikely that trains will reach here for some time yet.
