Goods van joins the fleet

The H&DLR is pleased to announce that goods van Gw/s 10086 has completed its refurbishment programme and is now ready to enter service. This photo shows it in "ex works" condition prior to entering service.

Here the van is seen at Birkenhof. The photo below shows what it looked like before refurbishment.

Some work on the station platform at Birkenhof has also been completed this weekend. The vans are seen in the siding adjacent to the "new" lean-to addition to the station on the new platform surface.
