It's been a busy day on the H&
DLR. The track gang have been improving clearance at
Whitebeam Curve approaching
Dottendorf station. The tree has grown almost exponentially since some nearby
leylandii were removed; hopefully the minor surgery won't harm the tree but will allow the passage of trains for some years to come.
The station lamps from
Miniature Scale Models have now been wired in. These lamps have 12v bulbs, whereas the H&
DLR runs a 16v lighting circuit, so a resistor has been included to step the voltage down.
