It's been a cold few days, with a most disappointing lack of snow. Trains have run, though, thanks to the H&DLR policy of maintaining the track for traffic throughout the winter.
The Rügenschen Nicki+Frank S 99 4652 was out and about on passenger and freight, while the Döllnitz 2091 operated the later services. Both locos now sport Bertram Heyn milled number plates and Deutsche Reichsbahn plates; yes, I know the 2091 arrived in Mügeln long after the DR, and indeed the DDR, had been consigned to history, but Bertram Heyn doesn't - yet - make Döllnitzbahn plates.
