Track relaying completed

In true railway fashion, the track relaying was completed and opened to traffic by 14:00 Sunday. The outer loop is now capable of being isolated or part of the main control circuit; reversing the previous arrangement where it was the line that was always live. This will allow a freight service shunting the kaolin wharf to be controlled separately while the main line continues to operate.

The alignment is now smoother, without the former reverse curve at the end of the platform loop. The loop is also slightly longer, rendering it more useful.

There's more reinstatement of scenic items to be completed, and of course the actual siding which is the driver of the whole project has yet to be laid. But, importantly, trains can again run.
